About Us

We're Chocolate Turtle, your destination for tasty treats conveniently located in Churubusco, IN. Whether you come into our store to try our chocolate turtles, handmade candy, or delicious cupcakes and other delectable desserts, we’re sure that you’ll leave with a smile on your face. Our staff is super friendly and willing to help you find the perfect treat for any occasion! Our team will also work with you to create the perfect product for your event or special occasion. Our Story

Owner Amy DeBolt and her mother started a small operation out of their home many years ago and jumped at the opportunity to bring their recipes to a storefront. Since opening the doors of Chocolate Thimble, strong relationships have been created with their customers through exceptional desserts and great service. As the demand for our products has grown, so have we! Our second location, Chocolate Turtle, is located at 101 S Main St in Churubusco, IN, and was created to conveniently serve our customers throughout the area.

Chocolate Turtle has been Churubusco’s delicious treat and bakery staple since 2018. There is nothing more important than pleasing our customers, and we do this by offering the tastiest desserts available to our local community members. Our various treats are handmade and our old-fashioned techniques ensure everything we offer is of the highest quality and made fresh.

We specialize in customized desserts, including chocolates, popcorn, cupcakes, cake pops, and even special event cakes. Our team is dedicated to providing handmade cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and many other sweets that our community members love. We work hard to turn sweet dreams into a reality and are capable of creating chocolates, candies, and cakes to meet your needs, as we look forward to new creative challenges.

In addition, everyone there has been very friendly and helpful. It makes my heart happy to support local - and to splurge on some sweet treats.
